Week of 11-3

This report covers the whole week of 11-3. We are still getting easy limits on trophy bull reds, sharks and kingfish. Red snapper are a little tougher now but the size of them is bigger. We expect that to return to normal numbers soon. Our long trips have yielded some interesting catches of longtail bass(caught at a depth of 660’), rainbow runners, barracuda and a short fin mako. The fishing is still great and getting more interesting. Come join us and “get behind the reel”.

Going big baby!! Week of 10-10

What a great trip these guys had this week. A bit of rough seas at times but they got er done. Red snapper and redfish were easy limits with a couple kingfish and spanish mackerel thrown in. Also caught a keeper cobia, triggerfish and a mangrove snapper. Had a visit from the mahi but was lost at the side of the boat.
Another bit of awesome news is, we have a new addition to the family and will be ready for spring of 2017. We have purchased a 35ft sportfisher and will be getting “Reel Lucky” ready over the winter. We will begin taking bookings for her as soon as she is repowered. Below are a few pics for you to see of her.

9-28 Big Bunch of Bull

What a great day on the water today. We caught a 44” King Mackerel, several Spanish Mackerel, 3 trophy redfish(42″40” and 38”) and 3 Texas state limits of red snapper(4 per person for a total of 12). Seas are playing nice right now so it is a great time to be out fishing. I have added some new specials to take a look at.

WOW! Weekend of 9/23

What a weekend. Caught a ton of spanish mackerel, red snapper(filled 6 limits on Sat evening), large kingfish, mani and a few grouper. The fishing is fantastic and not only has it not slowed down, it has gotten hotter and the fish are bigger. A 50.5” kingfish caught by Joseph led the pack this week. Several 22” red snapper and a few 30” as well.
Come aboard and see what new memory is in store for you!

Wow!! They are big!!

Our morning trip on Thursday proved up for BIG fish. The red snapper continue to get larger in the state waters(Remember you can keep 4 per person year round on red snapper). We boated two trophy red drum(redfish), they were 36” and 35”. What beautiful fish as they turned a shiny golden color. We also continue to catch several species of shark.
The bite is great and we have some openings for this weekend on our 2pm trips. Come and get your trophy bull red!
Tight lines!

Week of 9-3

This week has once again been outstanding. The bite was great although the seas and weather were rough. We had some real troopers on the boat this week who really hung in there to get it done. One highlight was a 65b blacktop shark caught 45 miles out at the shrimp boats after a 40 minute fight. Boy does he have a story to tell. Limits of red snapper are still common and the water is clearing up again so the fishing should get even better! Flounder and big bull reds are now showing up and we can also target these species if you wish to. Just let us know and we will build a trip around your desires! Tight lines!

Morning trip Aug 23

Started the day behind the nearshore shrimp boats and picked up several spinner sharks and a few Kingfish. The action wasn’t as fast as usually but still very good. Some 40 minute fights with the sharks. Moved to a reef and finished the day after snapper and boated a few sharks as well.

Week of 8-7-16

Still some darn good fishing out there. It is still as hot and fast as it gets. The limits of kingfish, red snapper and shark continue. We have landed several cobia over 52”. The sharks are in and they are big, most over 5ft.If you are still looking for a battle than we can hook you up! Come and get tight!!

Week of July 25! Monsters!!

This week has been a huge one. the fish are big and numerous right now. The group from Kansas was gifted with a big fight with numerous huge spinner sharks. Limits of kingfish and red snapper(to 26”) are still quite the normal. Seeing some tasty bonnethead sharks and blacktop sharks as well. Blackfin tuna are starting to show up behind the shrimp boats as well. Book us today for that memory of a lifetime for your kiddos before school starts!!

This fishing is insane!!

The fishing is mind boggling right now. Limits are quick for state snapper and kingfish. Federal snapper season may be over but we are on the big ones in state waters and YOU GET TO KEEP 4 PER DAY!! The ling and the sharks are around too. Come aboard and make a memory and remember, sometimes the fish we put you on are bigger than you! See the photo attached!

Great day! Great charters

The day was a good one all around. Had to eek out some red snapper to get some keepers. Kings were large (40” class) as was the Spanish Mack. The blacktip Sharks were hovering and we caught both that we saw. One small gag in the mix and it was a great day.

1/2 day Saturday July 2

Waters were great but clarity was diminishing. Still caught lots of kings(very large) and Spanish Macks. Went after a group of 4 Ling but no bite. Starting to see sharks now too. Weather gets hotter so will the bite. Tight lines!!

Weekend-6-27

Saturday and Sunday were very different days on the water. We caught a few kings that went over 40” and a very nice ling(cobia)(lemon fish). Seas were testy at times but not too bad. Seems things are starting to return to normal after the floods. Fishing will get hotter as the temperature does. Come join us for your memory today!!

Snapper trip

This trip turned into a half day due to the weather. We had a big storm complex drive us off the water after just an hour of fishing. We quickly got our snapper limit and was ready to break into trolling and a big storm hit us.
