Oilfield Outkasts knows that offshore fishing isn’t for the faint of heart. It gives you the chance to test yourself and find out just how tough you are by getting hooked up on some big fish! Targeting a variety of big game fish in the deep waters out of Freeport, Texas, the team can customize its trips to suit every individual who comes aboard one of our boats.
Choose your trip, do your stretches, get behind the reel and lets get tight! We can troll, deep drop, drift, pop, jig, chunk or flat line for any specific species of your choice. We specialize in bait pitching to those curious fish like Wahoo, Mahi, and Cobia as well. It’s your call and we will cater the trip to your desires and preference of species.
NEARSHORE BEATDOWN
Fishing in this nearshore zone is a great trip for anyone who hasn’t been offshore fishing and wants to wet their feet, but is also great for the experienced fisherman! These trips are great for all ages so bring the kids.
Fishing various reefs and wrecks, you may target Red Drum (Trophy Bull Red), Shark, King and Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, Snapper, Ling, and anything else we can hook up! (target species depends on time of year and water conditions). You choose either 5 or 8 hours of floating on the salt water and ignoring your cell phone! Like our other charters, it includes fuel, bait, gear, and fish cleaning. Just bring your cooler with whatever drinks & snacks you like. Don’t forget your fishing license. Included are: fuel, bait, all gear, and fish cleaning. The maximum number of guests on the boat is 6.
5 Hour Charter –> The price for up to 4 guests is $850, 5 guests is $950, and 6 guests is $1050. A short 15 to 30 minute run to the first fishing spot will get you plenty of time to soak a hook for some real rod bending species. This is our most popular trip that will likely fill most coolers with bags of fish.
Bring Everybody/Groups of 7-12 –> The perfect option for team building, retreats, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or large families who don’t want to get on a party boat with a hundred other people. We have to put you on two boats to accommodate the group size, but you’ll stay as close together as is safe. Or, if you want to split up for some friendly competition, we support that! Place your boat bets and lets go.
Shared 5 Hour –> At $225 per person this trip also includes bottled water, custom fish cleaning, gratuity, and an O2 shirt as a souvenir. Five hours on the salt with new friends catching several species and at the most affordable price available. You can literally show up, board, and go fishing!
All Inclusive 5 Hour –> DON’T WORRY BE HAPPY. Feel relaxed on this trip because you have no extra charges to worry about at the dock. New to booking a fishing charter? Unsure about how gratuity works? This all inclusive trip takes the guess work out! Not only does it include everything you need to fish, you also get a t-shirt for each guest, bottled water, and specialty fish cleaning. Bring your group, any snacks you want, and your fishing licenses & let’s go fight some big ones! Maximum 6 guests.
Rated “Arrrr” 5 Hour Ch”arrr”ter –> $900 bucks for 4 anglers is what you pay for this brutal roasting beatdown. You are welcome to bring up to 6 anglers in your group but we charge an extra “hundo” per person after the fourth. The fishing is all the same but don’t worry about your “P’s and Q’s”, you’ll likely forget all that while you are on the reel and bent over the side of the boat. Ages 18 and older recommended. 5 hours of fishing with our Navy Veteran Captain David and/or an Oilfield Captain. Want to have someone in your group roasted more than the usual sh*t talk while you’re fishing? Then this is the trip for you. Not for the easily offended – we don’t discriminate. Trip includes a special fishing shirt for a selected roastee. Great for Bachelor/ Bachelorette and friend getaways!
8 Hour Charter –> 8 hours of floating on the salt water and ignoring your cell phone! We’ll go hunting for Bull Reds, Shark, Kings, Jacks, Smack, Snapper, and whatever else is hiding under the surface.
We will run as far as 22 miles down the coast to search for the biggest state water fish we can put in the box.
Like our other charters, it includes fuel, bait, gear, and fish cleaning. Just bring your cooler with whatever drinks & snacks you like. Don’t forget your fishing license. Gratuity not included.
BLUEWATER SAFARIS
Tuna Throwdown –> Venture up to 60 miles offshore to chase down the creatures of the deep. At these depths, you will be fishing for the big boys! We’ll get you hooked into Blackfin Tuna, Mahi, Shark and maybe Marlin or Wahoo! These fish are crazy fun, rewarding to catch, and taste that much better! Best booked after July 15th. This isn’t a 2 fish limit “snapper trip”, there are no limits on Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. We will do all we can to stuff the boxes!
Come on aboard and enjoy 10 hours of high intensity fishin’ for up to 6 tough suckas. Now the business end, trip price of $2100 includes all the Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Marlin, and Wahoo (and one EXTRA large shark) that we can get our hooks into for 4 anglers. Price is $100 per person after the 4th angler. Fuel, bait, tackle, and fish cleaning are all included in this trip but sunscreen, drinks, snacks are not.
Swordfish Showdown –> This 12 hour charter is a trophy hunt for the hard core angler who’s done it all within 60 miles of shore. You’ll be on a quest for Swordfish up to 90 miles offshore! We could also target Blackfin Tuna, giant Shark, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. Weather conditions for this trip must be ideal, so it’s important to be flexible with dates. This is truly a safari on the deep blue seeking to catch dinosaurs. We will also target other available species on the trip including; Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi, Sailfish and Marlin.
This trip is limited to 4 anglers due to the risk of a “green” sword on the deck. Trip cost is $3000 and includes fuel, bait, tackle and dinosaur cleaning. The daily boat limit of 4 Swordfish is a real possibility on this trip. Bring your drinks, lunch, license and sunscreen on this adventure.
A 20% deposit is taken at the time of booking and is subject to our cancellation policy. We accept Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, Paypal, Bank Transfers, and credit/debit cards for deposits. The balance is paid the day of your trip by cash or any of the forms of payment already mentioned. ***Please do not bring food or drinks in glass containers*** All of our charters are based on time. Availability of fish depends on water conditions, time of year, season, and migratory patterns. We do not offer a guaranteed catch but will do everything we can to put you on the fish that you want to catch. We rarely return with nothing.
