The storms along the coast are going to keep us off the water for this weekend, but last weekend we had some really cool cats on the boats.

Norman and Lee have been friends for 50 years after meeting in cub scouts. Their schedules finally aligned and they made a trip down to Surfside to go fishing offshore. Capt Rodney and Capt James, who have also been lifelong friends (43 years), had a great day on the water with them.

A grandfather along with two family friends, a k.a Okie Outkastz, brought his grandson fishing with us. We had a guest appearance by Capt Matt, assisting Capt James in making memories for this family. They shook up the Bull Red category on the board with a 27 pounder.

We won’t call them out by name on social media, but we know it’s going to be a [insert descriptive word here] trip when a bachelor party rolls off the dock drinking electrolytes after having been in town here the night before. Always a great time once they get hydrated and start catching fish!

Another group from Oklahoma, the Thaos, caught PBs (personal bests) because they’ve never been fishing offshore before. And two of those PBs paid off by taking over the 1st and 3rd places in Bull Reds.

Today (Tuesday, 9-22-26), 🚒 Station 27A 🚒, made their own claims! Warren took 1st place in Bull Red spots and the whole team changed the catfish category.
